Core Philosophy
Narrow on purpose.
The long-term ambition — daily food infrastructure for the post-domestic kitchen — is broad. The way we get there is to refuse breadth until we have earned it. These are the principles that decide what we build and what we say no to.
What we believe
- Continuity beats choice. Daily eaters want a routine they can trust, not an endless menu to decide from.
- Reliability before scale. Boring, on-time delivery earns the second week; growth without it just multiplies failure.
- One solved joint at a time. Prove the whole loop in one micro-market, then replicate the template.
- The wedge is sacred. The relocation Landing Kit stays sharply scoped until its signals hold.
What we refuse (for now)
- No open chef marketplace.
- No unlimited cuisine browsing or heavy customisation.
- No multi-city promise before one city works.
- No native-app dependency for onboarding.
- No growth spend before 20%+ contribution margin.
How the principles show up
From belief to build
ScopeOne product (Landing Kit), one market (Delhi), a capped subscriber count.
OperateA per-joint console runs orders, kitchen, inventory and delivery with data isolated by login.
MeasureOn-time %, complaint rate, extension rate and margin decide whether we expand.
ReplicateOnly a proven joint becomes the template for the next one.
Proof
